VITAL: Skin & Bones Edition

Vital is a fantasy roleplaying game about hard choices, strange forces, and dangerous adventures in an ancient city built on faith, debt and blood.

For one to four players and a gamemaster.

Vital uses a stripped-down PbtA rules engine with freeform character creation.

Feah is an ancient city built upon its own bones. Every age has paved over the last: temples beneath tenements, palaces beside slaughterhouses, markets above catacombs. No one knows how many names it's had or who laid the first brick.

It sits where a great river meets the sea, and all roads lead there. Ships from distant places line the harbor's docks. It is built of stone, wood and metal, but it is also wild. Trees, moss, grass and water take hold anywhere they can, filling the spaces the architecture leaves.

It is holy, crowded, hungry, and alive with opportunity.
